Birgitta works as teacher in an elementary school, teaching young immigrant teenagers Swedish. She has the opportunity to go to her job with a happy smile, every day, since she loves her job and her pupils. Meeting other cultures and so many interesting young students are a gift; everybody should be able to learn.
Through the years Birgitta has spent many hours working with Amnesty International and other organisations. All working for a better world, as democracy, peace and better environment.
In the last five years the family has grown with seven grandkids and more are incoming very soon. Several of them live just a few minutes away, by bike or by walking. Such a joy!
Rolf works as architect in his own Studio, mainly with ecological building projects in Sweden as well as in China, where he is guest professor at Beijing University of Technology, in Sustainable Urban Planning and Architecture.
Rolf was former owner to the first environmental certified architectural company in Sweden. However, the double jobs in Sweden and China reduced the quality of life too much. Today running the size of a studio is now far more interesting and leaves time for adventures with the grandkids.
Together Rolf and Birgitta spend much time in the nature. The Kayak is waiting only 50 steps from the house. Our interesting jobs, our great family and a wonderful nature just outside of our terrace, that’s our quality, our main life.
