Participating in the Climate pilot project in the City of Kalmar from August 2007-May 2009 has given our family a lot of knowledge and many good things that we can apply in our everyday life. The project has been a life experience that we will carry with us for a long time. Therefor we are looking forward to follow and coach the American families in Washington D.C. starting a similar journey this summer/fall.
About us
Patrik works as a Project Manager within construction/development and Josefine works as an Information Director at an insurance company. However, at the moment Josefine is on maternity leave with the youngest son Ludvig until September. Then Patrik will stay at home with Ludvig until spring 2010. In Sweden we have a unique chance to stay at home on paid maternity leave with the minor ones for many months if we wish.
Spare time
In our spare time we enjoy visiting our friends, do "house/garden stuff" and perhaps play some golf or take a bicycle tour. At the moment we have an ongoing project trying to make our house more climate-smart and a low energy house. It’s a challenge that costs a lot of money, but we believe it will result in lower energy bills in the future.
